Well, I guess you could say my spring break/vacation/holiday didn't exactly go as planned. I mean, it started off amazing/awesome/fantastic, the weather was perfect/ideal/beautiful, and we were all hyped to party/celebrate/have a good time. But things took a sharp turn/decidedly weird turn/sudden detour when I got absolutely fried/cooked/scorched by the intense/brutal/fierce sun.
Now, I'm not ignorant about getting a tan, but this was next level. My skin feels like it's on fire/crawling/tight and I look like a cooked lobster/tomato/walking sunburn. I can barely move without feeling like my body is on fire and the whole thing is just a pain in the butt/unbearable/awful.
